Kingdom Sports exists to raise up a generation of young people who know who they are in Christ, compete with excellence, and carry the Spirit of God onto every court and field they step on. We carry this work as a calling.
We train children ages 8 to 16 in basketball and football, and in the Word of God. Every drill, every rep, every game is an opportunity to become who the Lord created them to be.
Compete at the highest level on our Kingdom Basketball and Kingdom Football club teams. Children learn what it means to be a warrior for Christ, on the field and off it.
Intensive skill-building clinics for children who want to sharpen their game. Every session is rooted in faith, character, and competitive fire.
Our year-round academies go deep: sport-specific training, biblical mentorship, and identity formation for the next generation of Kingdom champions.
We exist to raise Kingdom warriors who also happen to be elite athletes. Faith is the foundation everything else is built on.
At Kingdom Sports, every coach is a believer. Every practice opens in prayer. Every child who walks through our doors is treated like a son or daughter of the Most High God, because that is exactly what they are.
We aim to sponsor every child for a FREE sporting experience. Every gift goes directly toward uniforms, court time, equipment, and bringing more children onto the field and into the Word. Whatever you sow here grows in a young life.

"God loves a cheerful giver." — 2 Corinthians 9:7
Every child starts somewhere. Reach out today and let us show you what we are building.
Kingdom Sports was born out of a conviction that the sports field is one of the most powerful mission fields on earth. Children become champions on the court and on the field, and we intend to make sure the champions they become belong to the King.
We saw a generation of young people growing up strong in body but empty in identity. We saw athletic programs that develop skill while neglecting the soul. And we knew God was calling us to do something about it.
Kingdom Sports was founded to be the bridge between athletic excellence and Kingdom purpose. We believe sport is a gift from God and a tool for His glory, and that every child who trains with us is being prepared for something far greater than a championship trophy.
Our mission is to train children ages 8 to 16 in basketball and football with elite coaching, biblical discipleship, and identity-forming mentorship. We raise up athletes who know the Word, walk in the Spirit, and compete with the heart of a warrior for Christ.
Our coaching staff are seasoned athletes and trainers, and men and women of God, committed to seeing every child grow in faith, character, and identity. They lead by example. They pray with their players. They show up for the long game.
Meet the coaches and leaders below, then come see the Kingdom Sports difference in person. Come to an open day, book a call, or simply reach out. We are here.
Malaine Lea Butler brings a decade of playing experience and a decade of coaching experience to Kingdom Sports, making her one of the most seasoned voices in the program. As Head Coach of the Royal Lions, she leads with a blend of skill, discipline, and heart, developing players who are strong on the court and grounded in character off it.
As Kingdom Sports Commissioner, Malaine oversees the vision and direction of the entire program, ensuring every team, coach, and player operates within a culture that values excellence, faith, and growth. Her leadership shapes not just how the game is played, but the environment in which young athletes are formed.
Malaine's basketball journey started as a player, giving her a firsthand understanding of the game that few coaches have. She is also referee trained, adding another layer of insight into the rules, flow, and integrity of the game that she brings into her coaching. That well rounded background, player, referee, coach, and now commissioner, makes her uniquely equipped to lead Kingdom Sports at every level.
With a decade of experience on both sides of the ball, Malaine continues to pour into the next generation of athletes, building a program rooted in skill development and Kingdom values.
Charles Epati is a dedicated basketball coach with a passion for developing young players from the ground up. As Head Coach of the U9 team, Charles brings energy, patience, and a genuine love for the game to every practice and game day, helping the youngest athletes build strong fundamentals while falling in love with basketball.
Beyond his U9 team, Charles serves as a Clinics and Academies Coach, working across multiple age groups and skill levels to sharpen technique, build confidence, and grow the next generation of players. His coaching style blends structure with fun, making sure kids are learning the fundamentals of the game while enjoying every minute on the court.
A player himself, Charles doesn't just coach from the sideline. He stays active in the game, which gives him a hands on, current understanding of skill development, footwork, and strategy that he passes directly on to his athletes. That combination of playing experience and coaching expertise makes him a trusted mentor both on and off the court.
With years of coaching experience across clinics, academies, and team programs, Charles is known for his commitment to player growth, team culture, and creating an environment where young athletes can thrive.
Cassie Edwards is the driving force behind the smooth running of the Royal Lions. As Team Manager, she handles the details that keep the team organized and ready for every practice and game day, from communication with families to coordinating schedules and making sure players have everything they need to succeed.
Cassie's commitment to the Royal Lions goes beyond logistics. She brings a genuine care for the players and families in the program, creating a supportive environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued. Her organization and dedication help the coaches focus on what they do best: developing players on the court.
With a heart for team culture and a passion for the mission of Kingdom Sports, Cassie plays a vital role in making sure the Royal Lions run like a true team, on and off the court.
Mary Epati is the steady hand that keeps Kingdom Sports running smoothly behind the scenes. While coaches and players take the spotlight on the court, Mary is the one making sure everything comes together before, during, and after every practice and game, from logistics and communication to the countless small details that make a program feel organized and cared for.
Her heart for service shows in everything she does. Mary understands that ministry and sport are about people first, and she brings that same care into her role, supporting coaches, families, and players so the program can focus on what matters most: developing young athletes in a faith filled environment.
Mary's dedication to Kingdom Sports reflects a true team spirit. She may not be calling plays or leading drills, but her fingerprints are on every successful season, every smooth event, and every detail that helps Kingdom Sports fulfill its mission.
